On Sunday 14th january the Under 15s were away to Baglan. An excellent performance in difficult conditions but the unbeaten run continues with a 10pts to 5pts win. Man of the match award went to Tom Edwards who played at No8 today. The heavy conditions seamed to suite Tom, and Baglan's back row and scrum half had a torrid time against him. The winning run now needs to continue as next month we play our first round match in the Scarlets cup.

ANNOUNCEMENTS The UNDER 15'S team will be taking part in the Carwyn James festival of Rugby in Bolognia, Italy in Easter 2007. To help fund the trip the team are having 'A Question of Sport' Quiz in the club on FRIDAY 2 FEBRUARY. A team of three will compete at a cost of £5 a team. All are welcome!

Last Sunday 3rd December the under 15s done a season double over Llangennech by winning the game by 32pts to 10pts. The young magpies still remain unbeaten for the season but will be tested this coming weekend at home in a gwendraeth derby against Trimsaran. Both sides are unbeaten, therefore one team will surely lose their unbeaten run. Pob Lwc/Best of luck boys.

This weekend's game was against Dunvant RFC whom in the past have been a very strong team. Therefore the young magpies needed to be at their best. And at their best they were with a convincing win of 43pts to 7pts. Try scorers were Tomos Ellis-williams 2, Tom Edwards 1, Dafydd Pritchard 1, Scott Flear 1,Rhodri Jones 1try and 1 conversion, James Owens 1try & 3 conversions.

All players gave 100% in the victory and the result was indeed a team effort, but two players deserve a mention for outstanding performances these being Dafydd Pritchard No8 and James Owens No10. This result means that the team are still unbeaten this season with 8 wins out of 8.

On Sunday the Under 15's beat Carmarthen Quins by 22pts to 10pts. Try scorers were Jonathan Evans [1], Joshua Davies [1], Tomos Ellis-Williams [2] and Joshua Davies scored one conversion. To date the team are still unbeaten.

The Under 15s remain un-beaten for the season with another hard fought win on Sunday against Neath Athletic .The score being Tumble 11pts - Neath Athletic 8pts. Scorers were Michael Edwards with one try and Josh Davies two penalties. The next game will be against the Carmarthen Quins at home on Sunday 22nd October 2006 at 11.00am.
